- Direct engagement with minority groups marginalized from natural resources use through their people's organizations; facilitate their local struggles and advocate for changes in policy and practices.
- Capacity building of local people's organizations, I/NGOs on right based approach and people centered advocacy.
- Knowledge generation through research and social campaigns on issues of sustainable livelihood; grass roots social movements, right to natural resources and ecological democracy.
- Facilitation towards thematic and issue based linkages of grass root movements with other social movements beyond local.
